== Overview ==

The House of Caesars is a body of Citizens and Staff members founded by [[Manji]] which later relegated his position to [[Justinian]] and Lucius Vorenus (now [[Belisarius]]). The House of Caesars is unique on TWC in the way in which it is structured. While other houses place their founding member at the top, the House of Caesars is structured based on rank within the forum.

To be a member of the House of Caesars a member of TWC must be patronized, or later adopted, by an existing member of the house.

== History of the House ==

The Text below is an extract from [[Belisarius]]'s [http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=49349 statement] to the Curia that a new house had been formed:

:Let it be known that from this point on the House of Vorenus is disbanded and a new house has been formed. All power in name and title has been divided by Lucius Vorenus in equal shares with Lucius Vorenus, The Bavarian Noble, Seleukos and Justinian having joint leadership of the house. These four individuals are to be regarded as equals and none can make decisions regarding the house without consultation with the other leaders.

:The Following declarations are put into force with immediate effect:

:*Any member of the House who achieves the status of Consul and thus serves the community as Consul is to automatically be given the title of Caesar and be an equal house leader.

:*Any member of the house who Achieves the rank of Opifex, Urbanis Legio, Quaestor or Praetor is to automatically be given the rank of Praetorian Prefect

:*All other members of the house are given Praetorian Guard status.

:*Being an adopted Client of TranceCrusader therussian is to be given the rank of Praetorian Prefect.

:*Lucius Vorenus, on dividing up his house leadership is to be given the title Caesar

:The House of Caesars is a revolutionary house based on service to the community; all members are respected and protected under the house. All that is expected of them is that they act in accordance to the Constitution and Terms of Service.

:The House of Caesars is not a political power aimed at furthering the careers or ambitions of its members, it is a house designed to rally and bond its members under common values of friendship, community spirit and a desire for the betterment of TWC.

:All bonds of Patronage are to remain in As they are now.

Great Britain is one of the 5 playable factions in Napoleon: Total War. It is featured in the Coalition Campaign. It is a major faction

==Overview==

Great Britain is a constitutional monarchy, a nation of free trade and personal liberty. Its people are seemingly devoted to making money and disliking foreigners in equal measure. Foreigners are, quite simply, just not very good at anything, be that running an empire or making a decent pie. Britons make no secret of their prejudice, a crass attitude that makes diplomacy difficult. The “English” as, much to the annoyance of the Scots, everyone calls them, are disliked in every court in Europe for this arrogance and their willingness to let everyone else do all the fighting and dying against the French. The apparent truth of this last point has been a gift to Bonaparte.

If the British do have a truly visceral dislike, then it would be the French, thanks to traditional rivalry and a genuine horror at the consequences of the French Revolution. While many British politicians were pleased to see an end to the Bourbon monarchy, they were repulsed by the insatiable bloodshed of the Terror, and fearful that the infection of revolution might cross the English Channel, with or without French bayonets to help it along. Invasion is a constant fear and, as always, an enemy in control of the Low Countries is enough to scare London.

Britain’s position in 1805 is better than might be expected, but not due to its own efforts: Napoleon has managed to upset almost every other nation in Europe with his high-handedness. This is an opportunity for the British to build a new alliance, although this will mean paying handsome subsidies to its partners. As long as the Royal Navy can keep control of the seas, Britain is safe from invasion, but without a substantial army and continental allies this counts for little against France. Britain can contribute to the downfall of France, but needs time and resolve to muster its strength. Napoleon may not grant that time.

== Overview ==

Registered on September 14, 2008, Lysimachus is currently a [[Librarian]] and a [[Content Writer]] as part of the [[Critic's Quill]]. He frequently posts in the Discussion & Debate section of the forum, though has a record of spamming the forum in the past. Also, he used to have a lot of boobs on his profile. He tried to be an ES writer but didn't have what it takes to be the creme de la creme of Publications.

He is also known for his membership long cursade to become a citizen. Taking advice from his mentors like Legio and Major Darling, he had an unfair infraction overturned and is finding he way into the minds of us TWC users today. Hopefully by the time someone actually reads this, he will be a citizen.

The Eagle Standard is a TWC publication that focuses primarily on the Total War aspect of the forum. Its many features include, interviews with modding teams, previews of up and coming modifications, TW fansite reviews, editorials, AAR submissions, AAR reviews, coverage of the various modding contests on the TWC, TW related announcements, modding tools spotlights, TW forum reports and monthly Picture of the Week round-ups.

The Eagle Standard is not to be confused with the Helios, which is another newspaper published every fortnight for TWC, but is primarily concerned with the happenings in the forum, as opposed to the Total War games.

The Eagle Standard releases a publication every month, and is currently on Volume VIII, Issue V.
