Overview
The House of Caesars is a body of Citizens and Staff members founded by Manji who later relegated his position to Justinian and Lucius Vorenus (now Belisarius). The House of Caesars is unique on TWC in the way in which it is structured. While other houses place their founding member at the top, the House of Caesars is structured based on rank within the forum.

Membership and current family tree
To be a member of the House of Caesars a member of TWC must be patronized, or later adopted, by an existing member of the house.
History of the House
The Text below is an extract from Belisarius's statement to the Curia that a new house had been formed:

----

:Let it be known that from this point on the House of Vorenus is disbanded and a new house has been formed. All power in name and title has been divided by Lucius Vorenus in equal shares with Lucius Vorenus, The Bavarian Noble, Seleukos and Justinian having joint leadership of the house. These four individuals are to be regarded as equals and none can make decisions regarding the house without consultation with the other leaders.

:The Following declarations are put into force with immediate effect:

:*Any member of the House who achieves the status of Consul and thus serves the community as Consul is to automatically be given the title of Caesar and be an equal house leader.

:*Any member of the house who Achieves the rank of Opifex, Urbanis Legio, Quaestor or Praetor is to automatically be given the rank of Praetorian Prefect

:*All other members of the house are given Praetorian Guard status.

:*Being an adopted Client of TranceCrusader therussian is to be given the rank of Praetorian Prefect.

:*Lucius Vorenus, on dividing up his house leadership is to be given the title Caesar

:The House of Caesars is a revolutionary house based on service to the community; all members are respected and protected under the house. All that is expected of them is that they act in accordance to the Constitution and Terms of Service.

:The House of Caesars is not a political power aimed at furthering the careers or ambitions of its members, it is a house designed to rally and bond its members under common values of friendship, community spirit and a desire for the betterment of TWC.

:All bonds of Patronage are to remain in As they are now.

The image below represents the status of the House of Caesars as it stood in late 2006 - by today it has no doubt grown beyond the names listed below.

Overview
Rarity is a TWC modder of great renown. Since registering in August 2010 he has become a key contributor to several modding projects, such as Rome Medieval and Ran no Jidai. Perhaps his most prized modding contribution is the "Rarity's Carousel Boutique" RTW Workshop, where he creates skins and animations on request. Recognition of his work earned him the RTW Modeller award in the 2011 modder of the year awards. Rarity is also skilled in the creation of graphical art of varying genres.

Perhaps the most striking element of Rarity's character is, for those in the know, his similarity to the character he has adopted. A model of generosity, he is always willing to use his skills for the benefit of his friends, and of the entire community. A polite, cordial manner and a good grasp of aesthetics add icing to the cake.

During his first slice of TWC activity - as his alter egos phananhtom and Soarin' - Rarity was a notorious spammer of the Coliseum, in fact one of the most well-known. After losing almost all of his spam posts due to GED's purge and gaining citizenship, he shed his Colosian identity and focused on the more serious areas of the forum. He was actually one of the most pleased at the loss of his posts, due to a tenacious obsession for a high rep-to-post ratio - a love of prestige and fabulous bling that again reminds us of his selected mare.

He is part of the Vault Staff, and also writes for the Silver Shield.

Overview
Diamat is an established member of TWC, recognizable due to his Saxon pride, communist past and love of forumite artifice and pomp. He is a regular in Thema Devia and is well-known there for frequently sparking or becoming involved in debate, a rather novel phenomenon in that area. He is fairly older than many Devians and probably the most academically accomplished. Aside from time spent being silly in Thema Devia, he sometimes debates in certain areas of the Discussion and Debate fora.

After naming himself "Pope of the Church of Meloncat" some time in Spring 2012, the title "Pigeon-Pope" was granted to him by a Devian. Since then - and despite Diamat's attempts to make clear that he is in fact a budgie - the pigeon sobriquet has endured.

History
Having joined the site in April 2010, it's only really in early 2012 that Diamat emerged in the community, namely when he became involved in the "Devian Monarchy" and changed his name from Admiral_TvS, adopting his iconic current avatar. Since then he has participated in a myriad of ventures, from rep-whoring to modding (creating a successful submod for Darthmod Napoleon, focusing on Saxony), role-playing, a stillborn Potato Competition, a cooking thread, image editing and the creation of Dolan-style TWC comics. He was patronized by Dark Storm and awarded with citizenship on August 12th by a unanimous vote of the council. Shortly after, he joined the Silver Shield content team. He emerged from the Scriptorium Summer Writing Competition with a silver award.

He conducted an interview with the owner of the site, GrnEyedDvl, as a Silver Shield Special Edition release. It was published on December 2nd, 2012.

Overview
Påsan joined Total War Center on the 15th of May, 2007. At first, he posted mainly in the M2TW modding sections, asking questions about his favourite mods, SS and TATW. Some time in 2010 he started to become more active in the Discussion and Debate and Thema Devia sections of the site, creating threads in the former about subjects which interested him. By mid 2011, however, his place was firmly established in Thema Devia, and he was one of the earlier fans of MLP to don the persona of one of the characters of that show, although he didn't take long to revert back to his original form.

It's during 2012, however, that Påsan has truly started to blossom on the site: Struck by the Thema Devian "blue fever" of the early months of that year he signed on to the Librarian branch of staff. His service in that group has been exceptional, particularly during the 2012 Scriptorium Competition. Additionally, he and Inkie Pie spearheaded the effort to revive the closed Describe the Person Above You Thread, which subsequently resulted in his promotion as a Local Moderator of it. Since then he has written a few reviews, posted some essays and started his own RTD game, which he also moderates. A final expansion to his moderating roles were seen through the part he played in seeing the Librarians take over management of the Game Reviews section. In April he was patronised by Silent Assassin, but narrowly failed to gain citizenship.

He also had a prominent role in the Thema Devia roleplay.

About Påsan
The fox doesn't bother himself with increasing his volume of posts, rep or friends for the sake of it, favouring quality over quantity in at least the latter two regards. He generally abhors the evolution of debates inside the Political Mudpit and favours The Arts as well as more light-hearted Thema Devia. He has an ongoing, amicable rivalry with the other Norwegian regular there, Princess Luna, which has seen both of them become Librarians and Local Moderators in the Game Reviews subforum. He is known for his dry humour and interest in 20th century international politics.

Overview
Ferdiad was a regular member at Thema Devia and the Coliseum, notorious for his pancake-bunny avatar and considerable posting capacity.

On the 14th of June, 2012, Ferdiad announced that he would be quitting TWC, thereby abandoning his spamming empire.

He returned on the 9th of July, however since then his activity is intermittent.

"Feud" with Twilight Sparkle
For many weeks during Spring 2012 Ferdiad and Twilight Sparkle duked it out between them in Games, Activities and Chat, to see who could outspam the other, and thus be the "most influential" poster there. The undeclared contest took place in two "battlefields", Coliseum and Thema Devia (known collectively and colloquially as The Underhive) and the two each had their own set of supporters. The duel soon took the form as a battle for the illicit, purely ceremonial title of "King of the Coliseum".

Twilight based his claim on greater overall posting quantity in the Coliseum, and the fact that the last true King, Glorfindel the Tukker, had privately proclaimed him as successor. Ferdiad based his claim on sheer "muscle", for he had come to largely surpass Twilight in posting rate, all over the Coliseum and in Thema Devia also, most importantly in its Chat Thread. He named himself "King of Spammers", and sought to add the title of "King of the Coliseum" to his name, although it is possible that he was simply attempting to provoke a hostile reaction from Twilight in the first place.

Although most of the "territory" in question was Coliseumite, the fighting itself took place almost exclusively in the Chat, which was Ferdiad's power-base. Most Devian Underhivers quickly declared for the bunny, leaving Twilight isolated from the hard-core of his followers.

The feud ended due to multiple reasons:

- Things got unpleasant for some and Underhivers noticed that not all of them shared in the fun.

- Royalist activity was essentially clandestine from the start, which meant that even ceremonial titles were on the edge. A word from the moderators liquidated the already waning Underhiver enthusiasm.

- Both contenders lost interest in the Underhive shortly after, which prevented the conflict from resuming. Ferdiad left TWC for a month and, despite returning, posts now at a vastly reduced rate. Twilight joined the Content Staff and shut down his spamming and rep-whoring activities entirely, cutting down on his Coliseum posts and handing the "crown" to his friend, The Kybrothilian.

The conflict appears to have since become a victory for Twilight's group, due to the gradual dismantlement of the bunny's empire and the appointment of Twilight as Local Moderator for the Coliseum.

History
Having joined the site in April 2012, it's only really in early 2012 that Diamat emerged in the community, namely when he became involved in the "Devian Monarchy" and changed his name from Admiral_TvS, adopting his iconic current avatar.
Overview
Diamat is a member of TWC, recognizable due to his proud Saxon heritage, communist past and love of forumite artifice and pomp. He is a regular mostly in Thema Devia and is well-known there for frequently sparking or becoming involved in debate, a rather novel phenomenon in that land. He is fairly older than many Devians and probably the most academically accomplished - aside from time spent being silly in Thema Devia, he sometimes debates in certain areas of the Discussion and Debate fora.

After naming himself "Pope of the Church of Meloncat" some time in Spring 2012, the title "Pigeon-Pope" was granted to him by a Devian. Since then - and despite Diamat's attempts to make clear that he is in fact a budgie - the pigeon reference endured.

History
Joining the site in April 2012, it's only really in early 2012 that Diamat emerged in the community, largely when he became involved in the "Devian Monarchy" and changed his name from Admiral_TvS, adopting his iconic current avatar. Since then he has participated in a myriad of ventures, from rep-whoring to modding (creating a successful submod for Darthmod Napoleon, focusing on Saxony), role-play, a stillborn Potato Competition, a cooking thread, image editing and the creation of Dolan-style TWC comics. He was awarded with citizenship on August 12th by a unanimous vote of the council. Shortly after, he joined the Silver Shield content team. He emerged from the Scriptorium Summer Writing Competition with a silver award.

The Thema Devia, also known simply as the "TD" is Total War Center's off-topic forum. It is part of the Games, Activities and Chat section. The Thema Devia is meant for discussion about topics which are not already covered by the other forums on the site. While one may talk about most topics there, violating the Terms of Service is not allowed. In the past the Thema Devia had a well-developed role-playing side, even going as far as to have it's own "monarchy" for a time, however, this was cracked down on by Moderation in February 2012, when several threads were locked and a warning posted here in order to dissuade such behaviour in the future.

Overview
Despite its "purposeless" status, the Thema Devia has been an object of great interest for many - in fact probably because of its aimlessness rather than despite it. In particular, a survey and subsequent article has been compiled about it (here). What lies within can be summarized to the following points:

* Namely, most regulars of the Thema Devia didn't consider the area for a long time after joining the site. Of the few who actually find the "Welcome to TWC" thread, a very small minority actually continues to post in the Thema Devia. The most frequent time span between registration and starting to post frequently in TD is between 1 and 2 years. The aimlessness and general low quality of content there keeps most newer members stuck to what they consider the "core" of the site in the modding fora and perhaps Discussion and Debate. Curiosity and desire to discover the rest of the site is what attracts users to start perusing the Thema Devia.

* The main reasons the Thema Devia is so appealing as to keep such a large base of regulars, are that it is TWC's "lulz capital" where the most easy laughs and socializing can be found. As such it provides a good, lighthearted pastime to many, and a distraction or place to cool off after a bout of heated DD posting/reading. Additionally some of the threads and discussions there actually interest people, whether it's news deemed out of place in the Political Mudpit or some of the larger threads like You Laugh You Lose, the Beer Thread, the rating thread and so on. There is division, however, between regulars who see the Thema Devia only as a way to escape boredom, and overall don't find much worth in it, or those who value the discussions and sociable aspect of the area. The Chat Thread would be an obvious example of this, despite the fact that conversation there tends to be of low quality often bordering on insanity. There is also the "Foreign Languages" area, which is useful for obvious reasons.

* As for the denizens of the Thema Devia themselves (known colloquially as "Devians") many revel in the ability to post or post in troll threads, to make sarcastic jokes and generally post in a less formal manner than in other discussion-based areas of the site. Some members pejoratively liken the population of the Thema Devia to that of 4chan, citing low intelligence, poor attention to grammar and lack of sensitiveness, although many find such a comparison unfair and emphasize on the good spirits and inclusiveness of the TD community. There are very few citizen regulars of the Thema Devia, although recently many have joined the Content Staff.
Overview
The Helios is a publication of the Total War Center forums reporting on the various non-TW related activities of the forums, though in the past it has carried advertisements for the TWC:University. The publication is also characterised by being TWC's second oldest publication, first having been brought out December 2005 ], and by being one of the most broken-up in terms of its publication history, having taken several hiatuses and gone through a long series of editors. It is currently released every two months.

History
In fact, the editorial history alone is worthy of note due to the great names involved; begun by imb39, Kscott and Grimsta, it then fell to Grimsta alone to edit the Helios. After a period a hiatus begun, sparked off by the Helios Political Issue (outlined below) and when it restarted, King Henry V was editing it. After a happy period as editor, bringing in a variety of innovations in style, he resigned in favour of Saint-Germain. However, on the retirement of Saint-Germain, the Helios fell into abeyance with no replacement editor until Justinian, during his long period as Republican Consul, restarted it and added innovations of his own, including the contents (a forerunner of that in use in the present Helios), before finally stepping aside in favour of Tom Paine, who it on to Scorch who in turn passed the reigns to The Sundance Kid. In late December 2008, The Sundance Kid opted to stand down from his post due to increasing workload and diminishing online activity. There were some doubts as to who would succeed him, until his deputy, Freddie, ascended to the position of editor and remained there for quite some time until again, the curse of real life took its toll on one of TWC's Greatest Brits. Astaroth followed as Head Editor of the Helios.

The Helios style has changed greatly; the original Helioi were written by the editors alone, and got very involved in politics. This ended with the Helios Political Issue, and since then the Helios has not only been less involved in politics but has also hired reporters in order to put in an extra layer of protection, a practice continued to this day. After the Sundance Kid, the Helios became more neutral in focus, with nearly half the articles based on Real Life and the other half on TWC, yet by the end of Astaroth's term as editor, the TWC-related aspect of the publication declined - due to a lack of relevant content in the form of online events - yet the professionalism of the writing had increased. Jom's term saw a continuation of this process and the finalization of the gradual process of removing the TWC-side from Helios, replaced instead with high-calibre academic articles on history and culture. While this trend saw an increase in the overall quality of the articles published, it also saw something of a decline in readership and feedback. The current editor, Lord Rahl, is initiating a small scale expansion which aims to grant the publication a wider reader base and bring it closer to the TWC community, whilst maintaining its academic core. Due to inconsistent input from writers he also established a bi-monthly publication rate to ensure that issues are complete.
The current series of Helios has so far run for 63 issues. Releases were, previously, nominally fortnightly, but usually late; they were monthly, for a time - also usually late. Currently they occur once every two-months. Archives for the oldest issues can be found here.

Controversy
GrimSta's political Helios edition was written in January 2006. It was an article featuring an interview with Belisarius which included a large attack on Simetrical. Simetrical Posted a reply, and things soon escalated as a group of members led by Belisarius pushed for Simetrical's resignation from staff and as Pro-Curator. This failed as most Citizens voted in support of Simetrical. Some now believe the whole incident was started by Belisarius for his own ends.

The Thema Devia is Total War Center's off-topic forum. It is part of the Games, Activities and Chat section. The Thema Devia is meant for discussion about topics which are not already covered by the other forums on the site. While one may talk about most topics there, violating the ToS is not allowed.

Analysis
Despite its "purposeless" status, Thema Devia has been an object of great interest for many - in fact probably because of its aimlessness rather than despite it. In particular, a survey and subsequent article has been compiled about it (here, link also below). What lies within can be summarized to the following points:

* Namely, most regulars of Thema Devia didn't consider the area for a long time after joining the site. Of the few who actually find the "Welcome to TWC" thread, a very small minority actually continues to post in Thema Devia. The most frequent time span between registration and starting to post frequently in TD is between 1 and 2 years. The aimlessness and general low quality of content there keeps most newer members stuck to what they consider the "core" of the site in the modding fora and perhaps Discussion and Debate. Curiosity and desire to discover the rest of the site is what attracts users to start perusing Thema Devia.

* The main reasons Thema Devia is so appealing as to keep such a large base of regulars, are that it is TWC's "lulz capital" where the most easy laughs and socializing can be found. As such it provides a good, light-hearted pastime to many, and a distraction or place to cool off after a bout of heated DD posting/reading. Additionally some of the threads and discussions there actually interest people, whether it's news deemed out of place in the Political Mudpit or some of the larger threads like You Laugh You Lose, the Beer Thread, the rating thread and so on. There is division, however, between regulars who see Thema Devia only as a way to escape boredom, and overall don't find much worth in it, or those who value the discussions and sociable aspect of the area. The Chat Thread would be an obvious example of this, despite the fact that conversation there tends to be of low quality often bordering on insanity. There is also the "Foreign Languages" area, which is useful for obvious reasons.

* As for the denizens of Thema Devia themselves (known colloquially as "Devians") many revel in the ability to post or post in troll threads, to make sarcastic jokes and generally post in a less formal manner than in other discussion-based areas of the site. Some members pejoratively liken the population of Thema Devia to that of 4chan, citing low intelligence, poor attention to grammar and lack of sensitiveness, although many find such a comparison unfair and emphasize on the good spirits and inclusiveness of the TD community. There are very few citizen regulars of Thema Devia, although recently many have joined the Content Staff.

Roleplay in the Thema Devia
The Thema Devia has a long history as a receptacle for threads deemed irrelevant or insufficient elsewhere. However, the colourful members who post in it regularly have often attempted to create a political roleplay within it in order to bring an additional dimension to activities there. The majority of roleplaying was shut down in February 2012.

Origin - Presidential Republic
In 2007, Guy posted a thread in the Political Mudpit which allowed users to create their own political party and to vote. It acquired a considerable following and was moved to Thema Devia, thus making the forum a home for all subsequent political roleplay activities. Guy's own party, the Revolutionary Freedom Party, emerged triumphant.

In 2009, Guy revived his effort to bring political roleplay to TWC, by starting another election thread. Presumably due to the thread's origin this time being the Thema Devia, it was more light-hearted and less serious than its predecessor. The ruling RFP was ousted by Babur's Mongol Party.

Finally, in 2010, a third round of elections was started, this time by Antwerpen. This election was distinct in that it followed a more overtly TWC-centric focus, with some party policies directly (if usually jokingly) relating to the affairs of the site. This election can be said to have set a precedent for future roleplay attempts, which were focused around the forum itself.

Evolution - Absolute Monarchy
With the Silly Old Duffer party having won the election, its activities were thereafter conducted mainly in their social group. Thema Devia once more became relatively apolitical; yet there were some who resisted...

The pages of history are obscure up until late 2011, and although it is unclear whether or not he/she had a predecessor, TheXand became a "queen" of Thema Devia. There were no formal rules around this kingship, but Xand drew her legitimacy from widespread recognition among the interested regulars of the Thema Devia. She was, however, a notoriously absent figure due to frequent forum bans, which eventually culminated in her permanent removal from the site due to repeated Terms of Service breaches. In any case although she didn't have any "powers", there were no conditions to her rule, and Devian regulars accepted its autocratic nature, thus making it "absolute".

Heyday - Constitutional Monarchy
The demise of the Arch-Mistress in January 2012 did not put an end to Thema Devia's role-playing impulses. Only a few days afterward, Pasan the fox opened up a royal election thread, at the end of which the winner would become Thema Devia's next king for life. There were three claimants, Cahoma, saxdude and InfiDoyle - all prominent Devians. Cahoma won the election with a landslide victory, and therefore became Thema Devia's second king, dubbing himself Dictator Cahoma, although his formal title was "King Meloncat I of Thema Devia".

Soon after, however, Inkie Pie (at the time known as Archon Musa) took things a step further, creating a Council of Five which would act as a legislative counterpart to the royal executive, as well as the House of Denizens, where Thema Devia regulars could pursue democratic activity and participate in the running of the forum's affairs.

The first council had as its members Ascarona, lolIsuck, Inkie Pie, Lyra and Pasan. The second council saw Ascarona stepping down and being succeeded by Kameraden.

Inkie Pie also drew up the foundations for a constitution, which can be found in Pasan's second election thread, link below.

The original constitution was poorly constructed and required work to improve it. Additionally, there was an active opposition to the constitutional monarchy. It came partially from within, with a new Thema Devian named Diamat starting a revolt in the mainstream of the Devia. He was joined primarily by the monarchy's external enemies, with Coliseum proto-anarchists such as The New Username intent on disrupting the flow of things. Moreover, Twilight Sparkle, the King of the neighbouring Coliseum (who ruled in a lawless autocratic style much akin to that of Xand) was opposed to the kingdom from the onset, particularly to the Council of Five, which he criticized as being oligarchic. In any case, the revolt was ended by moderator action, which bore with it a general warning against roleplay outside of the Community RPG's section, a foreshadowing of events to come.

The constitution had its flaws, and the first setback came during the Council's use of the "Ostrakon", which would exclude the designated user from denizenship, and encourage users to not +rep him. The recipient was The New Username, who was perceived by most denizens to be harassing their activities. However, the very nature of the ostrakon, as well as its unprofessional employment, resulted in borderline harassment of the recipient, and a second intervention by moderators warned the councillors and denizens against further use of such a tool.

Therefore, the Council subsequently took another direction and attempted to improve its actions and become less exclusive, with numerous revisions being made to the constitution. During this time, in late February, Twilight Sparkle created a thread in the vein of the old party elections of 2007, 2009 and 2010, starting his own "Brony Party". It is speculated that he started it in the hopes of increasing his influence in the Thema Devia by interposing himself as Prime Minister in-between the council and the king. However, the monarchy created its own "Loyalist" party, with Kameraden at its head, which quickly became the foremost group of those entering the election, thus putting an end to the "Bronyist Conspiracy".

However, the monarchy was entering its final hour. No longer able to fulfil his duties due to inactivity, King Meloncat I abdicated, thus sparking a second royal election, with Pasan at its head once more. Before the voting could begin, however, the Moderator Staff took final action and closed down the groups and threads formed around the constitutional monarchy, and stickying this thread as a warning against all related activities in future. Thus ended the roleplay and its kingdom.

Aftermath
The Thema Devia party thread survived, but interest quickly waned and it drifted into obscurity. A few attempts have been made to recreate something similar, such as the "religions" of Thema Devia, listed below, although without the rules and structures which made the constitutional monarchy successful (and which eventually caused its downfall) they amounted to little.

Currently roleplay is at a very low level in Thema Devia, and many of the records of the constitutional phase were lost due to the deletion of monarchist social groups and of the previous Chat Thread, although remnants of it can still be seen in the new version.

The Thema Devia is Total War Center's off-topic forum. It is part of the Games, Activities and Chat section. The Thema Devia is meant for discussion about topics which are not already covered by the other forums on the site. While one may talk about most topics there, violating the ToS is not allowed.

About Påsan
The fox doesn't bother himself with increasing his volume of posts, rep or friends for the sake of it, favouring quality over quantity in that regard. He generally abhors the evolution of debates inside the Political Mudpit and favours The Arts as well as more light-hearted Thema Devia. He has an ongoing, amicable rivalry with the other Norwegian regular there, Queen Chrysalis, which has seen both of them become Librarians and Local Moderators in the Game Reviews subforum. He is known for his dry humour and interest in 20th century international politics.
History
The user Vatterholm joined TWC on October 17, 2010.
The cause of this was a problem in getting the mod "Europa Barbarorum" to work.

He then started a long period of doing nothing until one day, for unknown reasons, he started to be more active.
He spammed the Coliseum and Thema Devia until he reached around 400 posts. Then a period of actually contributing to the site began.
He started some mods and helped out on others.

Vatterholm followed the "Blue Fever" trend of early 2012 in Thema Devia, joining the Librarian branch of the staff. He also tagged along with Pasan's plan to take over organization and moderation of the Game Reviews section.

He has recently been working on a TWC community project, A Murder in the Coliseum, which has brought him great repute in that part of the forum.

This is where members seeking counsel from the TWC community can speak out about their personal issues.
The section also houses a subforum for dealing specifically with relationship issues (essentially the woes of heterosexual males) and for fitness advice. There are also some useful and insightful stickied threads, such as Military Advice or College Advice.

PH+A is somewhat controversial - many disagree over its uses, and whether it is truly constructive. Typical arguments put forward here are that those giving out advice are often unqualified, and that there is no way of judging sincerity or good-intentions with any given piece of advice. Another is that those who give advice often assume radical or aggressive viewpoints in order to bolster their image and self-image. Or yet again, those who post many threads in the PH+A might be seen as attention-seekers or individuals who are unwilling to be receptive to advice given to them, no matter how constructive it is.

On the other side, there are many who would be prepared to argue in favour of the section - that it has in fact helped them in the past, directly or indirectly. There are a great deal of experienced or otherwise clear-thinking and supportive members who frequent the PH+A and make it a job to attempt to respond with insight, sincerity and good-manners at all times. Members such as Nazgûl Killer and Nutsack would be good examples here.

The Other Games section allows users to discuss non-Total War games, released or not.

It is a particularly useful domain for the following reasons:

* Users eager to follow an unreleased title can use a given thread as a central location where updates and news are posted by others, or where members can share news they have discovered themselves.
* They can also meet fans of games they enjoy, and discuss with them. It is also where members can bring up relevant trends within the gaming community.
* Finally, Other Games is where players can organize matches or game-swaps via Steam, thus contributing to the binding of the TWC community beyond the forums themselves.

Popular games (on TWC) with a particular focus on teamwork, such as the ArmA series and World of Tanks, have their own dedicated subforums.

The Game Reviews section houses a fine compendium of reviews ranging wildly in length and quality, written about a plethora of different game types on various platforms.

The section has traditionally been scrutinized by the Librarians, who collect the superior reviews posted there and store them in the Scriptorium and feature them in editorials.

The section was for a long time presided over by VOP2288, who established a guideline and framework for writing reviews, until he became inactive and the section fell into disrepair.

Recently, however, the staff intervened, having two up-and-coming Librarians (Pasan and Queen Chrysalis) take over moderation and thus organization of the section. This has also bridged the gap between the Librarian branch of staff and the Game Reviews section, thus facilitating their work.
Vatterholm is a Librarian and Local Moderator, fairly well-known inside Thema Devia and The Scriptorium. He has not yet released the mods he is currently working on.

His two most recent changes in persona were due to his induction into the Brony Herd during February 2012.
Lord Rahl has long been a talented creator of graphics for TWC, having developed new skins for the forums including "Rahl's Style" and "Pub". He also has created sets of badges for the community.

Since the beginning of 2012 he has also been the Content Director in charge of The Helios publication.

Personality-wise, he is known for his appreciation of good beer, championing the TWC Beer Association, and for his love of Star Trek (never hesitating to elucidate its superiority over Star Wars). He occasionally posts his infamous rants in issues of the Helios, and reviews films from time to time in his dedicated reviewing thread. His demeanour is generally cynical yet not without humour.

As his signature will remind you, his previous ranks include CdeC, Urbanis Legio and Quaestor. He also possesses a slew of various awards for his contributions.

He has been maintaining a successful Graphics Workshop since April 2011.
Xand was one of the most popular posters in Thema Devia, alongside others such as Cahoma and Tukker, frequently making jokes of things and generally being rather silly. However, Xand was also a very controversial member, what with the gender-changing (people are still unsure what gender he/she truly is), the lying about his/her age, and most of all, the repeated infractions due to obscene posting, as well as occasional insults and harassment. This meant that Xand was frequently banned and thus only posted between long periods of absence. Xand was finally permabanned in early 2012, for undisclosed reasons.
