Just to log an historical inaccuracy about the start position of Crete/Iraklion in the vanilla/Kingdoms game. It should be Byzantine. From the Wikipedia article on Crete:

Re: the comment on request for sources in the article, can't actually cite the Wikipedia article now as they deleted section, apparently as too trivial - see [1] however they only have half dozen pages on Total War and we have complete Wiki. Anyway I've backed out my editorialising which was based on something no-longer visible! I'm sure other references are around on forums but haven't time to find individually at the moment.
