Mongolphobia is a mod made on Total War Heaven by el_bandito. It is currently up to 3.2 version, and builds upon the retrofit mod (with grand unit addon submod)
Its aim is to provide a challenge "on the far side of Crazy" for the more experienced M2TW player by making the Mongols, Timurids, Papal States and Aztecs playable Super Factions. Aztecs start in Africa, gain zombies and zombielephants and Revenants, Papal States get the Retainers of the Apocylypse (Death, Famine etc etc) and wage war on everyone incessantly, excommunicated or not, while the Mongols and Timurids for whom the mod was originally made have a wide ranges of improvements- flaming arrows for horse archers, catapults firing barrels of canonballs, and 100% accurate, fast firing rocket launchers are but to name but a few.
Also, various changes have been made to ordinary factions. Byzantines gain shotgunners and elephants, many gain recruitable mercenaries, while rebalances of other vanilla units have also been put in place.
