Within the modding community a mod team member may be referred to as a 'developer'. A developer in that context being a person who helps to or is the leader of a modification. A developers tasks vary according to his experience, or to how far he is willing to learn. Learning to mod has a learning curve but can be overcome by willingness to learn.
A developer has many or one tasks that he may be assigned to such as
- Scripting
- Text editing
- 3d moddeling
- 2d artwork
- Texture creation
- Mapping
and much more.
