"What I remember about the Rise of the empire was, was how quiet it was..." 501st Clone.
- Roman Clone, once a lurker turned a spammer, [now a normal member,] is the forum's underdog. He first joined in June 2007 fleeing from another forum and needing help on how to install Rome: Total Realism.
- Although he has only used the internet actively since August of 2006, he has a big history. He first was an Empire at War modder, and formed his own mod, Attack of the Clones. In February 2007, he finally was given a wireless card for his gaming computer. He still participated in modding Star Wars: Empire at War, but slowly turned into an Star Wars: Republic Commando mapper. Within the four months he was one, he became relatively good, especially since he was taught by an experienced Unreal mapper. He was also the inspiration of one of the only Republic Commando mods, the Sandcrawler mod.
- He soon realized that his community was in war. A great modder, who was friends with some of the most powerful mod leaders and even staff, moved into power. He started threatening small mods to close down if he didn't like them. Roman Clone, under a different time, formed a secret alliance to stop him from gaining power.
- Sadly, when the battle was almost won, Roman Clone, was soon banned. Defeat filled the air of his allies and joy overfilled the crowds of his enemies. Roman Clone was so humiliated he removed all of his friends from the community off his Xfire friends list.
- However, the powerful modder was later banned for trying to steal someone's credit card number, and Roman Clone finally felt that victory was now achieved.
- His computer soon had to be reformatted, and his past work was all lost. He could not afford to start from scratch and return to both of his modding careers. He decided that he worked hard enough, and that he should actually settle down and just play games, not mod them.
- One day in February 2008, he was playing Rome: Total War when all of a sudden, it crashed for the ~100th time. Enough was enough he decided, and he went straight to the Basement. In his thread, "An Unusual Request", he asked for plans for a $1000 gaming rig. After a month, he was tech savvy enough to take the project onto himself. From March-May, he spent a lot of his free time in the Basement, giving advice usually for new gaming rigs. He built his new gaming rig on June 17, 2008. Roman Clone still works in the Basement and can also be found regularly posting in the Thema Devia as well.
