Strategy
Macedon is a challenging faction to play, as plague will soon strike Thessalonica. They usually fight against Thrace, the Greek Cities and later on, the Brutii.
One possible strategy as Macedon would be to take over the Greeks, then attack the adjacent Romans, before eliminating the Thracians to the north. While fighting the greeks your Phalanx Pikemen will tear them to shreds. They have much longer spears. Longer even than Royal Pikemen. Thermon is the most important city to capture as that is the first place that the Brutii will attack. A good strong garrison is needed as the Brutii won't stop attacking even if you destroy their armies again and again. Solution? Attack the Brutii in Southern Italy and wipe them out. As you will now be at war with all the Roman factions the capture of Capua and then Rome is crucial. Make sure that the Scipii are now either none existent or too weak to be a threat. I recommend non-existence. Leave the Julii for now. By now you should control all of Greece, Southern Italy,Crete and the Balkans area. Thrace should also be destroyed and the capture of Byzantium before they get it is crucial. Make an alliance, build an army in Byzantium and stab them in the back.
