Final release tracklist.

03 - Enter Lord Protector (alt. version)
04 - Parade
05 - Kings men
06 - Enemy warcries
07 - Battle Speech and charge
08 - Turn of the tide
09 - Epilogue

Quick overview

The albums first part has 9 tracks on it. Although scheduled for at leats 15 tracks, the proces proved harder than first anticipated. In order to release 100% quality (or as close to) the last tracks were cancelled for a later release (probably Part Three). It should become clear for anyone who listens to Part One that there is a heavy focus on the Battle, Mobilize or Tension aspect. Typical campaign, lose and victory scores are sheduled for release on Part Three.
As in any album, this part follows a storyline - the beginning, the hero, the calm before the storm, the battle and the end. This has been the main idea throughout the process. The first part draws much inspiration from battle themes and war-like scenarios.

Testing

The tracks have been tested on different soundsystems, however none of the tracks are suited for anything but simple 2.1 systems and headphones. The Arcus Lux team highly recommends the usage of headphones for maximum effect.

Usage

The scores are 100% free of charge. We do suggest you credit the artists in your credits.
The scores cannot however be re-distributed for a fee or used in any other 'commercial' way. Some scores contain samples which may not be re-distributed for a fee, although they are free to use. Before downloading you will have an opportunity to read the license in full.

Reception & reviews

"Arcvs Lvx is a great initiative and one of the most - if not the most - significant contribution to the modding community for a long time. The tracks of the score are great, and fit very well the theme of RTW - ie they are perfect for battle- and tension- tracks. King's men and the Turn of the Tide are my favourites, with Enter Lord Protector coming right behind them. Overall, Arcvs Lvx Pt.1 is a *great* piece of work [...]"
