A body called the [[Curia]], composed of members in good standing, is the primary vehicle through which the Constitution is mediated [affected] and altered. The following ranks have some special power, privilege or responsibility described and circumscribed by the [[Syntagma]]. Members who hold certain ranks can choose to wear badges associated with them. These badges have changed in appearance in order to be of a style related to the most recent ''[[Total War]]'' game; in order of release, these were ''[[Rome: Total War]]'', ''[[Medieval II: Total War]]'' and, most recently, ''[[Empire: Total War]]''.
