The Sekigahara Campaign by Akaie[http://www.twcenter.net/forums/member.php?123371-Akaie]and his team is a total conversion mod that seeks to represent the late Azuchi-Momoyama in a unique representation of the fall into conflict between the Toyotomi and The Tokugawa. This mod includes many things, among them are new factions, new skins for units and it even has adjusted some game play by tweaking stats of units, making bows more powerful and adding new armor types. The biggest thing this mod does though, is the way it represents a utterly split Japan and the fight for power. This mod is fun and adds a new campaign to spice up Shogun II Total War.

It culminated in the first Shogunate, and the rise of the Samurai as the ruling class.

User feedback and requests have been incorporated into the newest of the Land of the Rising Sun Mod. In version 1.2, ranged weapons are more accurate, especially at close range, and there is less of a spread effect in flaming and whistling arrows. Ashigaru, Rise of the Samurai, and Fall of the Samurai levy unit sizes are larger. Fall of the Samurai units are also deployed in two ranks now. Shinsengumi units have their bayonets exchanged into katanas. Find out more on the Land of the Rising forum.
