General Information
Set in the same Warhammer Fantasy universe as its predecessor, Warhammer II will feature a campaign map that spans across the continents of Lustria, Ulthuan, Naggaroth and the Southlands with four playable factions with two legendary Lords each giving players a total of eight unique starting positions.
Features
The campaign will focus around the New World and Great Vortex, seeing the player and AI race to gain control over the Vortex - to then either heal it and prevent destruction, or disrupt it and cause chaos. This will create a climatic end-game and sees the AI rush to beat the player to the end-game objective.
Owners of both Total War: Warhammer and Total War: Warhammer II will be able to play a 'mega campaign' which will see players fight across a huge map that combines both the Old and New world maps and factions from both games. It will unlikely be available straight after launch, but after a period of beta testing following Warhammer II's release.
Factions
There will be four playable factions which include:
- High Elves
- Dark Elves
- Lizardmen
- A fourth, unrevealed faction
Campaign Map
The campaign map will be a similar physical size to the original Total War: Warhammer, but with a third more conquerable regions.
System Requirements
TBC
