Overview
This mod takes back Barbarian Invasion to the timeframe of the Imperial Crisis of the Third Century in which the Roman Empire split into three seperate entities; the Gallic Empire in the west, the Palmyrene Empire in the east, and the Roman Empire proper smack in the middle. Various barbarians also threaten the security of the western world as the first barbarian attacks of the later world begin to take place, while in the east the great Sassanid Persian Empire towers in wealth and power. As with my mods of late I have constructed this in a way as to match up with the look and feel of the vanilla game. This mod takes place in the year 260 AD and includes the following factions:
Factions
- Roman Empire
- Gallic Empire
- Palmyrene Empire
- Sassanid Empire
- Saxons
- Franks
- Alemanni
- Burgundii
- Vandals
- Visigoths
- Ostrogoths
- Gaels
- Sarmatians
- Lombards
- Roxolani
- Berbers
- Slavs
