| <p>If I can get enough done this week then I will take the site offline sometime on Friday for this upgrade. While the site is down I will post regular updates on the header of the wiki at <a href="https://wiki.twcenter.net/index.php?title=Main_Page">wiki.twcenter.net</a>. The main domain name will be completely offline. I may or may not pop into the TWC Discord channel.</p>

| <p>This is a major upgrade that will take quite a bit of time. These are the things that will be done.</p>

| <li>Completely new RAID configuration on Odin</li>

| <li>Fresh install of Ubuntu 24.04</li>

| <li>Nginx instead of lighttpd for web services</li>
| |
| <li>MariaDB instead of MySQL for data services</li>

| <li>Import vBulletin database into XenForo</li>
| |
| <li>Install and configure all XenForo Add-Ons</li>

| <p>Once the site is up it will take me a while to make sure everything is ready to go before I open it up to the public. I will post regular updates on the wiki. The following will likely NOT be imported.</p>

| <li>Tags - We are going to rethink how tags work on the site</li>

| <li>Social Groups - There is no XenForo equivalent</li>

| <li>Private Messages - I will do another test import this week and decide on this</li>

| <li>Downloads - I am working with someone who does custom imports for this. It has to be scheduled. I will have the Downloads section shut down until that import is done.</li>

| <li>Awards - I have this mostly figured out.</li>

| <li>Reputation Comments - I asked for volunteers to update this list. Nobody stepped up. I have a short list. That is what we will go with until I get around to it.</li>

| <li>Custom Themes - We have done a ton of work on the test site with themes. Makanyane has two great ones almost perfected. These are pretty quick to import, but not first on my list of things to check when the site is live.</li>

| <li>Articles - The Article system is much different on XenForo though I am looking at an Add-On that I may purchase that works similarly.</li>

| <p><strong>This is a major upgrade. We are adding a lot of new features. It will take some time for everyone to learn how everything works and to tweak things until they are just right.
