I have copy and pasted the Wikipedia article for MII:TW. Obviously it needs cleaning up, including internal links and pictures but it is a good start and place holder.

It seems that all this Wiki-page has to offer is just a "dry" info about the game and some link to the game developers. While that info and these links are a *MUST* in any self respecting Online Encyclopedia [aka Wikipedia] they are -B-O-R-I-N-G-!-

As a gamer and a keen net user I would be most encouraged to access Wikipedia if I knew that there are links that may actually help me. Like editors or extractors to the software's files.

Having looked at license issues for TWC Wiki - it appears and I'm advised by Sim - that we don't have a practical way to legitimately use Wikipedia information at the moment.  So this either needs re-writing or deleting.  It was a bit of a duplicate for [[:Category:Medieval_2:_Total_War]] anyway, so I'd prefer deleting this and switching efforts to improving that page. --[[User:Makanyane|Makanyane]] 01:56, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

I have copy and pasted the Wikipedia article for MII:TW. Obviously it needs cleaning up, including internal links and pictures but it is a good start and place holder.

Hello, I am a gamer too :)

It seems that all this Wiki-page has to offer is just a "dry" info about the game and some link to the game developers. While that info and these links are a *MUST* in any self respecting Online Encyclopedia [aka Wikipedia] they are -B-O-R-I-N-G-!- As a gamer and a keen net user I would be most encouraged to access Wikipedia if I knew that there are links that may actually help me. Like editors or extractors to the software's files.

Do with it as you please.

Moved to Cleanup

Having looked at license issues for TWC Wiki - it appears and I'm advised by Sim - that we don't have a practical way to legitimately use Wikipedia information at the moment. So this either needs re-writing or deleting. It was a bit of a duplicate for Category:Medieval_2:_Total_War anyway, so I'd prefer deleting this and switching efforts to improving that page. --Makanyane 01:56, 10 July 2007 (CDT)

text is still on page under the re-direct - you just need to go into 'edit' from the article to view it. --Makanyane 00:43, 11 July 2007 (CDT)

New Portal Version

New Portal Page design is experimental, heavily borrowed from the front page design - if anyone has better design ideas please go for it.. or preview in a User/sandbox for discussion. Also please join in with updating any most recent / wanted sections etc so it stays up-to-date and interesting. If its missed linking to any major articles / categories please add. --Makanyane 16:55, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

Mod Spotlight

Mod spotlight on this page is more informally worked out than main Wiki frontage, DIY entries welcome, though mods should have 2 weeks min in spotlight, and quick repeats avoided. Should be released mods only and with reasonable page on wiki for main link to go to. Please leave note of when you changed spotlight below:
