Well armoured archery unit with powerful composite bows. Able to stand up to many melee units.
Overview

Details
Venetian archers are one of the best missile units in the game, their amour proving invaluable in missile duels. But this unit is not only a great missile unit but can also hold its own against many melee infantry, only being defeated by the heavy infantry units. While it is not as good as units such as the Janissary Archers or Long bowmen in terms of missile stats, the Venetian Archers make up for it with improved armour and resistance to arrows. As with most archer units, Venetian Archers come with the special ability of flaming arrows, meaning that they can unleash fiery hell upon the enemy. Overall, the Venetian Archers are a missile unit, which does not need as much care as other missile units due to its increased armour and melee stats.
