Well trained and disciplined troops used throughout the Byzantine Empire, these Lancers are well armoured and equipped.
Overview
Well trained and well disciplined, Byzantine Lancers are well armoured and equipped with a lance and a sword. Common throughout the Byzantine Empire, their training and discipline makes them very useful on the battlefield.
Details
As with the Dismounted Byzantine Lancers,Byzantine Lancer Byzantine Lancers are a cheaper alternative to some of the more elite units available to the Byzantine Empire. They have decent attack and charge stats, though inferior to both Latinkon and Kataphractoi. Their defensive stats are equal to that of the Latinkon, though inferior to the Kataphractoi. But they do come cheaper as well as earlier than the aforementioned units. Overall, a unit, which is good, though not excellent.
