<h3"> Weekly Competitions

Tale of the Week

The Tale of the Week Contest is a good way to boost your creativity: Each week an interesting picture, often from the Picture of the Week Contest, is chosen for competitors to write a short 'tale' about. After the submission period has concluded, a vote is held to ascertain which entrant has written the best story, based on the materials given.

The winner of the weekly contest is awarded 1 point for the AAR Competitions Medals Scoreboard.

The following graphics competitions are held in the Screenshot Galleries:

Picture of the Week

The Picture of the Week Contest, in short PotW, allows any kinds of modifications to the original Total War picture, as long as the final picture still consists of a major Total War Screenshot part.

Unedited Screenshot of the Week

The Unedited Screenshot of the Week Contest, in short UESW, allows ONLY UNEDITED Total War Screenshots. The emphasis lies on the perfect shot at the perfect time.

Game Picture of the Week

The Game Picture of the Week Contest, in short GPotW, Submissions must be from a game other than Total War, submissions may be either edited or unedited screenshots

A Long Way From Home

Alwf title small.jpg

The Writers' Study Yearly Awards have concluded for 2016, and once again the denizens of the Study have seen it fit to crown A Long Way From Home the winner of the AAR of the Year! Caillagh de Bodemloze's AAR features an ordinary person like us, albiet with a slight twist... he has been transported to the world of TES: Skyrim with no clue how he got there or how to get back home to earth.

Be sure to give this award-winning AAR a read and follow Yannick as he tries to cope in a strange world filled with monsters, magic, and mayhem - all intertwined with lighthearted humour, unique characters, and master story-telling.

<h3"> Community RPG's

Role Playing Games, in short RPGs, are a complex and highly entertaining way to interact and "play" with other members on TWC.

Communityrpgs250.png

In general, all participants of one RPG choose one faction for the game and pick their characters (Family Members, Agents, etc) out of this faction. Then, everyone acts out his role or character to turn a simple Total War campaign into a vivid theatre play or rather, a novel! Most RPGs have introduced a complex game system with political aspects and structures.
