Overview
The Environment and Weather Mod (+ extra blood) is a component mod by HorseArcher to improve the weather and environmental effects in M2TW. This mod is the successor and equivalent of his popular SkyMod for RTW.
Stated aims include:
- Correct small problems found during customization
- Reduce the fog globally on all climates
- Increase sunny the weather patterns according to the climate type
- Increase the chances of some rare events, such as blizzards and thunder storms
- Customize weather events by chaining them into one (sunny to rainy, rainy to sunny, cloudy to clear etc)
- Customize the clouds, try using alternative custom made clouds
- Increase the speed of the clouds (visually very cool)
- Build custom effects
- Reduce bloom lighting globally
- Create custom weathers
- Create custom climates
- Create custom weather phenomena (as far as the modding, the engine and experience allows), such as heavier dust/wind/rain/snow/fog/ effects as well as custom made weather effects (light/heavy snow; light, medium, heavy rain etc.)
- Attempt to re-activate disabled effects (overcast)
