House of Brutii
Every Roman faction has its pros and cons including the Brutii, they face the phalanx early on which need a varied gameplan as opposed to the weak Barbarian opponents of the Julii. Although they face tougher opponents they have access to considerable riches in the form of The Greeks and Macedonians.
Early Strategy
First of all it is wise to attack the coastal regions to bring in sea trade, focus on Athens, Sparta and Larissa. Take Appolonia for a nice 5000d income from The Senate (Senate Mission). Once you have these take Corinth, a nice loyalty bonus comes free of charge with this settlement, Thermon, Salona, Thessalonica and Byzantium. This will give you a very good income which you want to maintain and even improve.
Note: keep ood town watch garrisons as Greece is prone to revolt, not quite as bad as Egypt btw.
Middle Game
From here it I would be a good idea to take Asia Minor then you should be churning out very good troops or depending on how quick you progress you may have had the Marian Reforms. If you have take the fight to Egypt and decimate the Sahara. At this point you cannot take Scipii provinces, just take all remaining African Provinces. Keep on top with your Navy, you can afford it, So then you can easily transport troops to the fight with no fear of enemy ships.
Late Game
Now carry on the surge through Africa ending up in Spain, take it, Romans have superior troops especially post Marius so it should not be a problem. Carry on untill you meet Julii forces and the Civil war should not be far away. When the Civil War comes take all of Scipii's provinces then move on to the Julii's, do not go higher up than Lemonum (unless you want world domination) then swiftly gather you forces into Italy then Blitz that and hopefully you will have your fifty provinces. From here you can end happy or go on to take the world.
