Overview

Rise of King is an overhaul mod for Medieval II Total War. It consists of a number of popular mods as well as my own changes. My goal is to add more realism and historical accuracy while maintaining a balance game. It mainly focuses on the High Middle ages, from 1080 to 1330

Features

Factions

Changing the factions is currently a goal of the mod, but in the current release, the faction list remains the same as vanilla M2TW,

Map

The current map is the Anno Domini v0.9.2 map. In a future version this will be replaced with a version of the Mundus Magnus map, converted for use with M2TW and the medieval setting.

Other Features

At the moment its mainly a bunch of my favorite mods combined so they work together.

These include: - UAI - Bygs Supply and Command - BBB - Real Combat - DLVs Filed Script - and a few minor ones as well. The Rise of Kings readme has the full list of included mods and current changes. There is also a copy of the included mod list in the download thread located [here http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=76527].

Alpaca's 4 turn per year script has also been included.

In v2.0 full (which Kushan has just got back to working on), the goal is to completely redo the faction unit list for all the current factions, considering historical aims, as well as aims in relation to gameplay.
