Europa Barbarorum
From the other wiki:
Europa Barborum is a modification aimed to increase realism for Rome: Total War. Many consider it the "rival" of Rome: Total Realism anothe modification geared towards realism. However despite these similar goals, the two mods are very different. Europa Barborum (EB) focuses on what may happen theoritically whereas Rome:Total Realism focuses on what actually happens. Major criticisms of EB are the long length of time each release takes and how despite of few years of work, it is only in its beta phase while RTR is currently developing version 7.0. E.B. maintains much of its fanbase and popularity because of its intricate and highly realistic scripting as well as being more realistic compared to RTR. The advanced scripting causes many bugs though including the notorious reinforcement bug. EB is still very much a work in progress due to lack of unit balancing, many placeholders, and incomplete factions.
