Sega Corporation (also simply SEGA) is a multinational software and hardware development company originating from Japan. It has been the publisher of the Total War franchise since Rome: Total War: Alexander. Sega is currently responsible for the marketing and sales of the Total War franchise, a position previously held by Electronic Arts and Activision.
