How to unlock all factions

There is also another way how to make all the factions playable. Follow all the directions CAREFULLY!!!

1. First of all, go to your C:/Program Files/SEGA/Medieval II Total War/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign

2. Right-click on descr_strat.txt and click Properties.

3. Turn off the Read Only. Then exit out of the Properties.

4. Copy and Paste the Unlockable Section and past it into the Campaign Playable Section.

5. Save and exit the file and run the game. ENJOY!

OH YAH AND REMEMBER TO MAKE A BACKUP FILE IN CASE YOU MESS UP

If you are one of those who try to save the file and it and it couldn't find the file path, follow these instructions after #4

Copy the descr_strat.txt file and paste the copy on the Desktop. (so you can find it easily)

Do the instructions on #4 of the first section and save it.

Then go back to your C:/Program Files/SEGA/Medieval II Total War/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign folder and delete the original descr_strat.txt file.

Then replace the descr_strat.txt file with the copy on your Desktop and run the game.
