Overview

The following is a list of ranks as described in the TWC Constitution.

The Total War Center is unique in its format. The Constitution, delegates specific responsibilities and privileges/powers by rank, allowing the membership some say in the day-to-day operations of the site. A body called the Curia, composed of members in good standing, is the primary vehicle through which the Constitution is mediated [affected] and altered. The following ranks have some special power, privilege or responsibility described and circumscribed by the Syntagma. Members who hold certain ranks can choose to wear badges associated with them. These badges have changed in appearance in order to be of a style related to the most recent Total War game; in order of release, these were Rome: Total War, Medieval II: Total War and, most recently, Empire: Total War.

The following ranks can be split into two groups:

  • Member Ranks
  • Honorary Ranks

Members also hold office to perform various tasks. Offices can be divided into Curial Officers and Staff Officers.
