This mod focuses on a much more realistic representation of the Holy Roman Empire: The vanilla HRE faction has been split in 9 factions and lots of features like Imperial Elections, Imperial Ban, Imperial Tax, Coronations, Antipopes, etc... have been added. It was formerly known at "The Empire: Total War."

This mod focuses on the HRE's 9 factions that were split into Kingdoms during the Middle Ages. The name "Holy Roman Empire" is a mis-nomer because it was neither holy, Roman, or an empire. It was simply a collection of Duchys and Kingdoms.

Features

This mods biggest features are mainly script which includes the following:

• Antipopes
• Imperial Tax
• Imperial Elections
• Coronations
• And much more...

The Holy Roman Empire has been split into its historical constituent Duchies:

• Fracnonia
• Swabia
• Saxony
• Austria
• Upper Lorraine
• Lower Lorraine
• Bavaria

and the Kingdoms of Burgundy and Bohemia

It also features other new factions, including:

• Aragon
• The Cumans
• Sweden (likely to be removed in later versions)
• The Obotrite confederacy

The game features unique soldiers and skins for each faction, as well as other features.
