Modding Vault

The Total War Center Modding Vault is a means of centralizing storage of mods so that people who wish to download them are not dependent upon the download location - which may be jeopardised by expired links or the hosting site going down - and the modding teams themselves, which may become inactive. It is funded by the site and run by the Vault Staff.

Origin

The idea was initially put forward to the Curia by Nicholas Rush, on May 5th 2011. The original proposal thread can be found here. It was passed unanimously, with only two abstaining votes.
