Naples & Sicily is an unplayable minor emergent faction in Empire: Total War.
Overview
The faction emerges in the wealthy and populous Naples and Sicily region, located in the southernmost portion of the Italian peninsula, which is originally controlled by Spain. Its state religion is Catholicism and it spawns with the absolute monarchy government type. The faction has emerged, but is still unplayable, in the fourth chapter of the Road to Independence campaign. Unlike in the grand campaign, the region has already developed both a trade port and a dockyard, potentially allowing the faction to quickly become quite powerful both in terms of its economy and naval power.
