The Political and Scientific Academy is a forum of TWC used to discuss political theories and science in the abstract. The Academy can be found in the Discussion and Debate section.
Overview
The Academy houses many articles and discussions concerning political theories. These theories concern solutions to problems that occur in modern society , indicate a certain problem, or give a view on the effects of those problems. These problems are politically based issues.
The Academy is the opposite of the Political Mudpit, since the Academy deals with concrete political issues, whereas the Academy deals with the abstract side of politics and science.
Like the Political Mudpit, the Academy has a set of rules, which are applicable to the forum in addition to the Terms of Service.
History
The Athenaeum was merged into the Political Academy in January 2020 to form the combined Political and Scientific Academy, so now the academy can be used to "discuss everything, from the intricacies of global warming to the merits feudal theocracy".
