The era column works by having a hidden number from 00 to 99 which represents approx point in time line - that is element that is sorted not the era description, eg.

00 not applicables

10 ancient Egypt

20 ancient Greek

30 start of Roman republic

40 start of Roman empire

50 fall of Rome

60 medieval

70 Napoleonic
