To use this template copy the following code on to the top of a unit article on the wiki, and fill in the sections according to the further instructions below. This should be used for all vanilla Total War units regardless of which game they are actually from. All information must come from the Vanilla Game, not a mod.
Code:

Further Instructions
- Image: You must upload an image for the unit here. This should be the image found on the information panel for that unit in-game.
- Element: This is where you put the Wu Xing element that the unit corresponds to.
- Class: This is where you put the subclass that shows up on the unit card, e.g. "Halberd Infantry" or "Shock Cavalry"
- Weight: This is where you put the weight of the unit that shows up on the unit card, e.g. "Light," "Medium," or "Heavy."
- Unit Size: This is where you put the number of soldiers/warriors in the unit, for example 160 men, For naval vessels put the number of crew at full strength (e.g. 300 men for a Heavy First Rate in Empire: Total War). Obviously, for units like Amazons/Screeching Women put "women" rather than men. For ships there is no need to split this into sailors and marines, but you can if you wish. Make sure to use the ultra/Huge unit size for all units.
- Weaponry: This is where you put the weaponry for the unit. It can either be swords, spears, muskets, axes etc. or a combination (e.g. Swords and Muskets for ETW Grenadiers). For ships, put the number of guns/other weapons (e.g. 106 guns).
- Armour: This is where you put the armor type for the unit, such as "Cloth" or "Segmented Heavy"
- Shield: This is where you put the shield type for the unit, such as "Gourd" or "Tower."
- Morale: Put the unit's morale value here.
- Speed: Put the unit's speed here.
- Melee Damage: Put the unit's melee damage value here.
- Melee Damage (Armour Piercing): Put the unit's armour piercing melee damage value here.
- Melee Attack Rate: Put the unit's melee attack rate value here.
- Charge Bonus: Put the unit's charge bonus here. If it doesn't have one, put 0.
- Bonus vs Cavalry: Put the unit's bonus against cavalry here. This stat is normally hidden outside the database files If it doesn't have one, put 0.
- Melee Evasion (Base): Put the unit's base melee evasion value here as a percentile.
- Melee Evasion (Shield): Put the unit's shield melee evasion value here as a percentile.
- Armour (Base): Put the unit's base armor value here.
- Armour (Shield): Put the unit's shield armor value here.
- Ranged Block Chance: Put the unit's ranged block chance value here as a percentile.
- Ranged Damage: Put the unit's ranged damage (ie the strength of the weapon itself) here if the unit as one. If not, just put N/A.
- Ranged Damage (Armour Piercing): Put the unit's armour piercing ranged damage (ie the strength of the weapon itself) here if the unit as one. If not, just put N/A.
- Ranged Attack Rate: Put the unit's ranged attack rate value here.
- Accuracy: Put the unit's accuracy here. If the unit has no ranged weaponry put N/A instead.
- Range: Put the maximum range of the unit's weaponry here. As above, if it doesn't have a ranged weapon put N/A.

- Recruitment Cost: This must be the recruitment cost of the unit on Normal difficulty.
- Upkeep Cost: This must be the upkeep cost of the unit on Normal difficulty.
- Building Requirements: You should put the lowest tier building that can recruit this unit (e.g. Governor's House etc.). Do not put more than one building in this section.
- Tech Requirements: This is where you put technology requirements for the unit, e.g. Marian Reforms, Steam Engines, etc. If there is more than one then list them as bullet points using the <li and </li> tags. If the unit does not require any technology, put None.
- General Class Requirements: If the unit is only available to a certain general class, put those classes here. Otherwise, put "None".
- General Level Requirements: If the unit is only available at a certain general level, put said level here. Otherwise, put "None".
- Faction Requirements: If the unit is only available to a certain faction, list that faction here. Otherwise, put "None".
- Attributes: This is where you put the units attributes as they appear on the unit information panel in-game (e.g. Paths Seldom Trod etc.) or abilities like "Broadside", "Can't Hide" or "Can form Testudo". If there is more than one then list them as bullet points using the <li and </li> tags. Do not include things like the fortifications you can get if an army in Empire: Total War has been stationary for at least a turn (though stakes for ETW light infantry, which they can set up at any point during the battle, are fine). Likewise, things like "can withdraw" or "can board ships" should not be included as pretty much every unit in every TW game can do these.
