I have been inactive for a period though so my contributions of late are not extensive, but I am aiming to change that in the near future. However I have made a vast number of contributions in the past (Mostly in the fields of the Curia, helping other members out in the TW areas of the board and even the odd news submission).

I don't agree with how you want to resolve the issue, but I at least agree that there is issues with the Curia. As a side note, I'm planning a return to the Curia in the near future.
