    Overview

True knights in shining armour, in principle at least, these men espouse the noble ideals of chivalry and honour. In reality they are brutally effective warriors who practice their skills daily in tournaments and mock fights. On the battlefield, their steel plate protection makes them hard to kill. After the charging in with their lances, they engage in close combat with heavy maces that can knock a man senseless, when a sword blow would glance off his armour.

    Details

Imperial Knights, are the best mounted unit available to the Holy Roman Empire. They have a devastating charge as well as an armour piercing mace for a secondary weapon. They have good armour and high morale. Though they have a slightly higher charge than the Feudal Knight, they cost higher to recruit. Imperial Knights also require a heavy investment as one is needed to build a Citadel as well as an Earl's Stable
