I have answered (I hope) part of your query on user pages on Talk:Makanyane, I hope I didn't explain that too badly.  You are clearly more experienced with Wiki protocol than some of the other users might be.  However it is not actually wrong for them to be making articles relating to their forum (rather than wiki) persona.  The wiki is about the forums and users as well as just being about the TW games and modding. The forum names are linked to in many contexts, eg 'author of' 'mod team member' etc..  and having a page at that link which directs the reader the forum profile is actually a useful feature.  This method is used for forum users that are not wiki users as well, the pages should ideally contain more information than just a link to profile, but that might be some time in coming!

Also, i pretend to organize this mod in a community way, so i thinked better to put in a wiki.

I preview to use TWcenter to community develop this mod. <br>
As an example Kalos is actually linked to from Broken Crescent and Polemarchia: Total War as he is a team member for both of those, so his page is properly an article about him as a modder, the fact that he is a wiki user as well is not relevant to that. (Though people actually making / redirecting user pages too would be good!)

Hey, Magnus
First of all, I'd like to thank you for the interest you have taken in this wiki. It is a rare thing, and, if you're willing to help, I'd be more than happy to have you on the team - if not, thanks for your interest all the same.

While your points may be applicable to a wiki designed with the purpose of being an encyclopedia (such as the Wikipedia), this wiki is linked to a gaming fansite and its forums - www.twcenter.net and www.twcenter.net/forums

Most of the action on the site takes place on the forums, and - as a result - it is quite appropriate that users create pages on themselves, both for practical purposes and other. You see, many members have been heavily involved with the forums in many areas over the years, and we generally have wiki pages on them for two reasons:

- to allow them to give an acocunt of their time on the forum, which is both interesting and useful.

- to allow a current and up-to-date archive of all the members of various ranks on the forum.

While your points are valid in the context of a wiki designed with the purpose of being an encyclopedia, this wiki is in the context of a fansite, and given the tightly-knit community that we have, here, pages on users themselves can be useful, interesting and attract members to the wiki. Members generally do not have separate personas on the wiki and the forums, and thus we can use their wiki pages to provide an archive of ranks and members as well as allowing users an opportunity to give their account of their experience on TWC.

"Would you class twcenter.net/wiki to be encyclopedic or not?"

The answer to that would be no. While neutrality is something to be encouraged in an encyclopaedia, in a wiki used simply to augment the content of a fan-site, it is not the biggest worry. I'm a bit rushed right now, but I'll get back to you in detail later.

Also, i pretend to organize this mod in a community way, so i thinked better to put in a wiki. I preview to use TWcenter to community develop this mod.
