As of 2012 this mod was integrated into The American Revolution Mod and is not available as a separate download.
Portuguese Unit Pack was a unit-pack developed by Geronimo2006, with assistance from Danova for the use of models from his "Ornamentum" mod for use with Empire: Total War by the Creative Assembly. Version 1 was released on 8th April 2010 at 08.26 AM. The mod is primarily a unit-pack, intended to rectify the relatively limited availability of faction-specific Portuguese-units in Empire Total War. At the time of writing, the mod contains 43 units, as well as new models or skins for Portuguese marines, admirals, drummers and officers in naval-battles. In addition, the mod incorporates 3 historical Prestige buildings that increase Portugal's prestige when constructed.
New Units
The 43 units in the unit-pack include metropolitan as well as colonial Portuguese units, based on historical-sources including "300 Anos de uniformes Militare do Exercito do Portugal" by Manuel Ribeiro Rodrigues, "The Portuguese Army during the War of the Spanish Succession" by Pat Condray (1992) and images from the Brazilian National Museum. For the early units, the descriptions are either based on contemporary descriptions or an educated-guess based on the coats of arms of the colonels (early Portuguese uniforms were mostly white-grey with facing-colours based on the coat of arms of their colonels) and on the historical fact that their early drummers wore reversed-colours. The full roster of custom units are:

Prestige Buildings
Portuguese Unit Pack also allows players to construct 3 historical 18th century Portuguese buildings: the Mafra National Palace, the Akademia dos Guardhas Marinhas and the Biblioteca Joanina. All improve Portugal's "prestige", as well as increasing region-wealth or "happiness" in the nobility and lower-classes.
Marine Models/Reskins
Portuguese Unit Pack incorporates the former Portuguese Marines Mod, replacing the marines in Naval Battles with their historical green-coated counterparts. To take account of the changes in the Armada uniforms during the 18th century, an "Early" version of the mod replaces the marine uniform with the historical greencoats with yellow facings, while a "Late" version of the mod replaces them with the historical greencoats with red-facings e.g. cuffs. The admirals have also been replaced with the historical redcoats with blue-facings worne since at least 1760 by naval-commanders.
