Hording is an event that was added in Barbarian invasion.
It is important to understand the concept: the Huns, Vandals, Romano-British and Slavs all start off as a horde.
Overview
Hording simulates the historical effect when a culture would migrate.
Advantages
- Huge forces under control
- No need to pay upkeep
- Can sack cities for a massive amount of money
- Allows faction to survive after loss of last settlement
Disadvantages
- Cannot retrain units.
- Horde units disband when settling.
