Difficulties playing as the Aztecs in the Grand Campaign by Anonymous
If you have enabled the Aztecs in the Grand Campaign (through mods such as the [[Custom Campaign Mod], or by removing the line of text that says "Undiscovered" in the descr_text file), beware if you want to play as this faction. This is due to the fact that you have no cavalry or artillery and no weapon or armor technology. Besides the lack of units, the Aztecs almost have no buildings. It is not recommended to play as them (the Aztecs), because it would be extremely difficult.
However the Aztecs are a playable faction in the Americas Campaign of Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms. They have been improved (in terms of getting additional agents, ancillaries, buildings, and traits) to suit this purpose.
