Originally joining the site under the name COGlory, Bolkonsky joined TWC in October of 2009, as co-founder of the first non-Total War hosted mod on TWCenter, Imperium GraecorumHe then joined Content Staff in October of 2010 as a writer for the Silver Shield.  In April of 2011 he became a Citizen, and shortly after he became a ModeratorHe then became Content Director of the Silver Shield.  In August of 2011 he joined Technical Staff.  In 2012 he joined Minecraft Staff, and became the co-founder of the TWC Modding Vault, and head of Vault Staff.  In the summer of 2012, he left Minecraft Staff, and Moderation Staff and became a Moderator Emeritus.  However in July of 2012 he resigned as Content Director and Moderator Emeritus, leaving the two branches.

In the spring and early summer of 2012, Bolkonsky played a heavy hand in the founding of [[Gaming Staff]], drafting the original Code of Conduct for the clans of Gaming Staff.  He also left the Silver Shield to work on another Content Staff initiative, but later resigned, citing life issuesIn the summer of 2012, Bolkonsky resigned from his position as Moderator Emeritus, as well as his position in Minecraft Staff.
