Game Play
Greeks have many powerful phalangites and hoplites. They are threathened by the Macedonians soon after the start of the game.
Starting Position
Greeks start wth divided settlments. They have territories on Sicily, Rhodes , Asia Minor and Greece. They are bordered by Scipii on sicily , Macedons in Greece and Selucides in Asia Minor.
Their cities are:
SPARTA: Capital city of Greece famous for its Spartan hoplites who can be trained only here and on Syracuse
THERMON: Small city in Greece , Thermon can soon be under threat from either Macedon or Brutti.
PERGAMUM: City in Asia Minor, Pergamum is expected to soon be under threat by People Of Pontus.
SYRACUSE: Greeks city-state on Sycili, is under threat from the House of Scipii from the early begginig. Spartan hoplites can be recruited here, too.
RHODES: Famous for its Rhodian slingers and Collosus, this island city is wealthy and safe gold mine.
Win Conditions
LONG CAMPAIGN:Hold 50 provinces including Rome
SHORT CAMPAIGN:Hold 15 provinces and outlive or destroy Macedon and Thrace
Units
Units are mostly consisted of phalanxes. Their defensive capabilities are high and are trained to use phalanx. Their cost varies from cheap( militia hoplites, hoplites) to expensive ( Spartan hoplites, armoured hoplites). They have some missile and cavalry support.
Unique Units
SPARTAN HOPLITES: Spartan hoplites are perfect soldiers trained from youth to be nothing but soldiers. They can be trained only in cities of Sparta and Syracuse. They have high defensive and offensive capabilities and high charge bonus.

Strategy guides
Possible strategy with Greece is to abandon Syracuse at the begginig of game and concentrate on Macedon. When Macedon are drive from Greece it is possible to build your military and challenge Brutii and Rome.
History
Greece was firstly only consisted of few Greek city-states. They became powerful because Alexander the Great ( born 346BC) led them to conquer most of the world. Greek architeture and art were famous. There are few places in world that haven't felt them and their influence. After the death of Alexander the Great his kingdom became seperated states including: Greek cities, Thrace , Macedon , Selucid Empire , Egypt , Pontus and Armenia. All of this countries were ruled bi his former succesors, but none of them was powerful enough to keep his empire together.
