Total War: Shogun 2 is a game in the Total War series developed by the Creative Assembly.
Released in 2011 the game marks a return to Total War roots, with Shogun 2 sharing the same setting as the first game in the series, Shogun: Total War.

Following on from a largely successful release were two expansions, Rise of the Samurai (RotS) and the stand-alone Fall of the Samurai (FotS), which were released in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

Master of Strategy Sengoku v42 for Total War: Shogun2 has been released. Now you can play as the Imagawa, Miyoshi, Mogami and Satake clans, all with new units! Many other changes and improvements are also included.
