This file is found in RTW/data/world/maps/base, and also RTW/BI/data/world/maps/base and possibly in provincial campaign folders if it has been transferred there.

This file is completely REDUNDANT in RTW patched to 1.5 and BI patched to 1.6, it can be safely ignored whilst modding or deleted.

The file is also found in M2TW; author believes it is probably also redundant there - but that needs confirmation.


Note however that the similar sounding file campaign_name_regions_and_settlements_names.txt in the data/text folder is still required and is critical if adding regions to maps.
