Spain (RTW Faction)
Spain are one of the factions in Rome: Total War designed to be non-playable. However they can be made playable by simple modifications to the game files.

Game Play
Spain is half barbaric, half cibilized faction. They have some organised units along with limited cavalry support. Their cities are very rich because of miney that can be built there. They are threathened by Cathage soon after the start of game.
Starting Position
They start on Spanish half-island. They are bordered by Carthage and have four cities:
Carthago Nova: Small city to the east on the coast of Spain
Osca: City on the north of Spanish half-island, bordered by Gaul faction
Asturica: located north on half-island
Scallabis: capitl city, doesn't make much money in the beggining but has mines. It can be threathened by Carthage's city of Cordoba
Win conditions
LONG CAMPAIGN: Hold 50 provinces including Rome SHORT CAMPAIGN:Hold 15 provinces and outlast or destroy Carthage
Units
Units are mixed , half barbarian half civilized. Armies mostly consist of light units.
Unique Units
Bull wariorrs: Very powerful unit that can be recruited by building last stage of shrine to Esus. First uses missile weapon before charging.
Scutarii: Light infantry that uses missile weapon befre charging
Strategy guides
Possible strategy is to early push Carthage from Spain and ally with Gaul while concentrated on Carthage.
