notes Total War Center does not delete accounts. On request, an administrator will remove profile information in the Admin Control Panel. Posts containing explicit PII will be removed but not otherwise purged. Be sure to message an active admin on site through TWC discord, or use the contact form email. An email must come from the account registered and a discord message must be verifiably associated with the TWC account. If contacting an administrator, it is worth checking their activity first to ensure they are available.
Explanation
I respect and attempt to deliver the right to remove yourself from the internet, but there are limitations, not least that forum software does not like or respond well to hard deletion. We can't do it anyway without the inactive tech hex, but we wouldn't even if so. The best we can do is purge profile data in the admin control panel. This will remove the stuff people are generally worried about like associated email, password, username, IP, timezone, and other such fields; this process is completed at admin discretion, generally mine.
For similar reasons of not wanting to rock the boat I do not merge accounts into a blank/generic account, though I've thought about it.
Purging posts is not a reasonable ask because there is no convenient/reliable way to do so given the tools at our disposal and because depending on the account it can be highly disruptive. You may blank your posts and request individual deletion of stuff which may specifically expose your identity, given links; bear in mind this cannot include quotations since those also include original usernames and there is no effective way to target other people's replies for this information.
I'm not on github and don't have the current motivation to do all that to get this set up, so if a kind soul would like to submit this information by PR they get at the very least a rep from me.
