Feel free to add pages or leave notes of your own insights related to this if you want. It's a community project, I do not 'own' it although I curate it.

I launched this effort on TWC through [https://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?818902 this thread]. But it has been on my mind for a long time. Look, I'd love to see GED come back, the administration revitalized with new blood and to not think in terms of starting anew, but as for why I don't see that happening, well, see the thread. This along with curating what exists on TWC is my priority, to make it as useful as it can be while it is alive and to ensure it is not all lost when it is not. That is the why.

Summary

I launched this effort on TWC through this thread originally. The owner's absence remains an issue and this serves three purposes: to guarantee TWC is not lost entirely if it ever disappears, to ensure something can be done in case of a prolonged non-permanent outage, and to take stock of TWC's condition and be more robust in its hopefully still long remaining life.
