~Gort~ is a quasi-legendary user on TWC, rumored to be a test account for the admins to test various features on the website, although nobody apart from a select few at the Hexagon Council is quite sure who ~Gort~ really is. Despite its murky past and the fact that it scarcely appears on the forums, ~Gort~ has obtained cult hero status at the TWC due to its "vaporising" and the fact that it remains the only user to have negative reputation, bar a few old members who have since disappeared from the TWC.
Function/role on TWC
It is unknown what ~Gort~'s function really is. Some say it is The Hex's lackey for testing all things new on Vbulletin, the forum's engine. Its random appearances cause great commotion, and they usually end up with someone's signature or even avatar being modified by ~Gort~ itself as punishment for defying ToS or ~Gort~'s will. ~Gort~ rarely bans people, preferring to vaporise them instead. Still, It is rumoured ~Gort~ is the only account capable of banning members of the Hex.
All in all, what is clear is that ~Gort~ possesses extreme power, despite having no title whatsoever. Anybody who takes control of ~Gort~'s account has full powers of TWC.
Identity
~Gort~'s identity is as obscure as its role on TWC. Some say it's actually a robot built by the Hex to restore order if ever there is another Civil War on the TWC. One user suggested ~Gort~ could be a very attractive woman involved in a Triumvirate of TWC power with Garbardsar and GrnEydDvl. Nobody apart from the Hex knows ~Gort~'s true identity.
Cult
~Gort~ is worshipped by many on TWC. The Book of ~Gort~ is a social group reserved for such practices. ~Gort~ is opposed to the idea though.
