The Curia of the Total War Center forums is a forum which exists for the purpose of aiding the TWC Senior Staff in the running of the site and forums. The Curia has a long history on the forums and has existed for roughly 3 years.

The Curia has a large say in the running of the forums and is responsible for maintaining the constitution of TWC, the Syntagma. Within this document is stored information and procedure regarding the Curial Ranks, which are very important to the operation and community of the TWC forums.

The Curia is moderated on a day-to-day basis by the Syntagma Curator and his deputy, the Pro-Curator.

Overview

For the purposes of fulfilling its objectives, the Curia forum is split into four additional sub-forums for ease of use.

Prothalamos

A forum specifically created for formally proposing and discussing legislation and ideas relating to TWC as stated in the "Legislation" section of the Syntagma, but not for voting. Only Patricians may post in this area.

Curia Vote

Once a bill has gained the support it needs in the Prothalamos, it may be moved to vote by the Syntagma Curator. All bills shall pass their vote if they achieve a 60% majority of non-abstaining voters.

The Tabularium

The archives of the Curia. All votes whether they pass or fail are stored in this forum for reference.

Consilium de Civitate

- main article: Consilium de Civitate

A forum visible only to elected Patricians and Senior Staff as per the "Consilium de Civitate" section of the Syntagma. Within this forum votes shall be taken regarding the granting and removal of certain Curial ranks (Artifex and Civitate as examples)
