CommodusIV is a citizen of Total War Center. He is best known for his participation in The Isles of Chaos in the Hotseating section, his long paragraphs regarding the state of the site in the Curia, and his light participation in the Elder Scrolls Total War Unofficial Patch team. Additionally, he is an occasional contributor to the Wiki and served a few very short terms in staff for the Wiki Team and the Scriptorium.

Background
CommodusIV registered in 2017 after lurking for years before, never committing to an account or desire to participate until then. He was convinced to join and commit to the hotseat community by Jadli, recruited from a Steam based multiplayer group for Medieval 2 Total War. After several attempts to integrate over time that were short lived, he eventually settled into a single Roleplay Hotseat.
For a short period he partook in the Writing Center, winning a few Tale of the Week events before returning to lurking. Over time he paid special attention to the Curia and the DD, commenting on the former, but never truly participating in the latter. Around this time he was involved in the so called 'Hotseating Crisis' that saw the upheaval of the Hotseat Gaming Staff.
Later, he involved in the Scriptorium and the Wiki, and held aspirations to join the newly made Modding Staff. His most significant progress was in the Wiki, where he did minor work on skinning that earned him the Bronze Wiki Editor award. As a member of staff his tenures were very short lived, ending quickly in the first two teams and never starting with the latter.
Latest Activities
After multiple spurts of life and death, Commodus once again became an occasional contributor to the Wiki. In addition, he participates in the latest Curial discussions, writes blogs with the dribble off the top of his mind, sprinkles activity across various site sections and has taken up a position in a modding team.
Games Owned
All of them save for Arena (RIP), Three Kingdoms, Rome on mobile and other such odd offshoots. Otherwise, Shogun 1 up to Warhammer 2 is in his collection. Essentially, all main entries to the series save for 3K.
His overwhelming interest, however, lies in Medieval 2, with older entries and Rome 2 coming as distant seconds, and the rest of the series only long enough to get an impression. Exception is a sub 100 hour stint in Warhammer to give it a try that lasted a little longer than others and significant hours in pre Medieval 2 entries.
Ultimately, Medieval 2 became his primary Total War game, and he can rarely, if ever, be caught in another entry - though he has spent quite a bit of time on games outside of the Total War series.
