The Slavs are one of the non-playable factions in the Barbarian Invasion expansion for Rome: Total War. It is possible to make them playable but only by substantial alterations to the vanilla game, or by using a script. They are in the Nomad culture group.

The Slavs do not start on the map, instead they emerge at a set date near Campus Barbaricum.

A good strategy would be to head stright to the Gothic Capital and take the surrounding nations and it pushing the ERE out of Greece and gaining acess to the Aegean sea
