History

The mod was announced in late December 2006. Before this dragases1453 had created his own mod which included BigMap while selenius4tsd had been working on a EHL Separation Mod. They decided to combine into one mod which would have three campaigns, starting in 1099, 1230 and 1356 respectively.

Bdotward joined the team as the campaign map modeller in March 2007, the same time as when the faction list was confirmed (see below). Two further additions to the team, Alletun and kobi118, joined the team in early May. kobi contributed majorly to the historical events but decided to withdraw from the team in late July. However, his position is now filled by arfrisco, Tadzreuli and Drtad who joined shortly after kobi left.

The mod was interviewed by the Eagle Standard in late July.

Current Progress

The proposed release date has had to be moved back from July/August until December due to reasons in this thread. However, with Medieval II: Kingdoms being released later this year, this postponement will present the opportunity for a normal Medieval II and a Kingdoms version when released, with new features from Kingdoms being implemented.

At the moment there are positions open to join the team - if you are interested, see here.
