Egypt are one of the playable factions in Rome: Total War. They can be played after successfully completing a campaign as a Roman faction or if unlocked by modding / cheats.

Game Play

Starting Position

At the start of the Imperial Campaign Carthage own the following settlements:

  • Carthage
  • Lilybaeum
  • Thapsus
  • Caralis
  • Palma
  • Corduba

Corduba in Spain is normally soon under threat from the spannish faction, Caralis tends to receive the attentions of the Julii, Lilybaeum is on Sicily which also has a Scipii outpost.
