TWC Wiki:Things to do
A few kind people have recently asked what could be done to help the Wiki, this page is being set up to give information on main areas that need attention.
This isn't meant to be particularly formal so people feel free to add things to the list - or delete / comment them when fixed.

Clean Up and Stubs Categories
Look in Category:Cleanup and Category:Stubs for things that other people have marked as in need of work, and pick something that interests you to work on. Also whilst viewing Wiki if you spot more things that should be in those categories for others to fix (there are probably a lot) add {{Cleanup}} or {{stub}} to the article so it gets sent to the relevant category.
Total War Information
Some of these areas have a basic structure but not really any content yet - for example pages in Category: Rome: Total War Factions some have no info at all, others like Egypt (RTW Faction) I got as far as putting suggested headings in. Some more content for those would be useful - (the strategy guides and AAR sections are likely to just be external links at moment).
BI needs faction pages making for most of the factions, use Celts (BI Faction) for the faction page and just plain Celts if required for disambiguation page to reference Celts factions in mods or for general / historical information about them. See Spain for example.
People - Wanted Pages
There are lots of dead links to people from mod pages team lists and other lists of members, that doesn't matter too much but it is clogging up Special:Wantedpages which makes it harder to spot broken links etc. If we could make pages for these it would help tidy things. Page can just contain [[Category:People]] which is enough to create the page and add it to category. Also including {{DEFAULTSORT: {{PAGENAME}}}} at top might help, it won't have any affect at moment but these might get moved to a different namespace - if we can work out what to call it, see TWC_Wiki_talk:Namespaces - and that would make them stay in alphabetical order in category lists if moved.
If you start from some of the mod pages like Wrath_of_the_Norsemen and make pages for their team members you can know to add info about them being team member as well. If you get round to it you can try to look up their forum profile and add link to that (if you're sure its same person), you might spot other things to link to from their sig. As an example Antagonist.
TWC Information
Needs a general check through to make sure information is up-to-date, in line with current Constitution, Forum Names etc. Pages that are definitely only related to TWC forums should go into TWC: namespace, eg move them so new name is ..wiki/TWC:Old Name. Some are done others like Urbanis Legio still need moving. Include {{DEFAULTSORT: {{PAGENAME}}}} on moved pages so they still sort alphabetically in categories.
References to Syntagma and any other defunct terminology should be updated, unless it is clearly used in 'historical' context. Anything referencing the constitution should have link to appropriate section of TWC Official:Constitution, the constitution article itself shouldn't have links or anything else added to it. There is a page at TWC:Guide_to_Constitution that could be used to give links to the separate articles instead. See below as well re: moving information from category pages to articles.
Categories
Simetrical has pointed out that information should normally be on articles rather than on category pages - unfortunately a lot of information is currently on category pages as that is how we started working. Category pages can't be moved into namespaces and aren't currently searchable. Information on them needs to migrate onto articles instead as areas are updated.
